NOTICE: Updated Rulebook.

Due to recent notification by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Sarasota County Fair updated its Exhibitor Rule Book to provide up to date information for animal exhibition. Please download the PDF file for the latest version. The Fl. Admin Code R 5C-3.001 list of Definitions is listed below for reference.

Updates include FDACS rules and changes to the Fair entry form. A premise ID is now required on the entry form for our fair.

Representatives of FDACS will be at the Steer Check In on September 6, 2025 to provide RFID tags for steer entries.

Sarasota Fair Livestock Shows

The Sarasota County Agricultural Fair Association Board of Directors and Livestock Committee members welcomes youth exhibitors who makes the fair the success it is! The opportunity to exhibit the results of the youth projects provides educational opportunities to not only the exhibitors but to the public as well. The Fair is a great tool to educate the general public on where and how our food comes from.

The purpose of the Sarasota County Fair is provide a safe environment to exhibit livestock, agriculture, crafts and educational opportunities to the public.
