RE:Animal Weigh-in rescheduled date

Due to the scale issue on September 9, 2023 – the entry date for the 2024 Steer – we will have the scales set-up for those who wish to participate in the Gain-in-Weight Contest on December 9, 2023.The approximate time is 10:00 AM, after ALL of the entries for the Beef Breeding and Dairy Cows are complete.Please note that Beef Breding and Dairy Cow check-in is scheduled at 8:00 AM and we will complete the entry process for these animals as long as they are in line by 9:00 AM.Please do not get in line in front of any Beef Breeding or Dairy Cows as you will be sent to the back of the line.We will start the steer weigh-in immediately after so plan on being at the fairgrounds by 9:30 – we will be set up until 10:30.
We are hoping to have enough participants bring their animals to the fairgrounds to have this contest as in past years.If you do not bring your animal to get a starting weight, you will not be eligible for the Gain-in-Weight contest, but it is not mandatory to come to this weigh-in.
